Given up on love

I had my last broken heart, no more lies broken promises that no one ever keeps.  No more looking for love, no more putting my heart on my sleeve.  No more of the nasty turn downs when a simple no you are not my type would do.  Tried of females saying you are too nice I only see you as my friend.

No more trying to find love, from now and until the end, I will no longer look for it search for it or put my heart out there to be stepped on kicked and spit on.  Sorry but love doesn't live here anymore, love is not something I can find, can get because it always has been here. 

At long last I know that the only love that matters and the only one I need is the love I have for me.  No longer will I look for something that is already there.  I have given up on the fantasy tales of love at first sight.  No more sad love songs, no more broken hearts and dreams.

For now on I will let love find me, I will no longer look for it because it is not to be found, or hunted.  Love will find you.
